Metrics provided in the competitor analysis report
Competitor analytics summary
Comparison of followers, fan growth, and post count for the selected date period.
Daily publishing behavior
How often do your competitors post on a weekly basis? Are they posting more content on Mondays? This might be why they are getting so much engagement as compared to yours!
Hourly publishing behavior
How frequently are your competitors posting on an hourly basis compared to yours? Are they consistently posting more at a certain hour? Their audience (which could be similar to yours) might be more active at this time of the day, so you may want to consider posting at this time as well.
Audience growth
See how your audience grew compared to your competitors. Did your competitor grow its fans at a rate that is much higher than yours? Then maybe their content strategy is working well and you might need to take a closer look at the types of content that they are posting.
Total & Relative engagement
Shows the total engagement for each competitor and the engagement relative to their total followers.
Hashtag usage
Comparison of hashtags used across profiles in this report - this will help you analyze which hashtags your competitors are using that you might want to jump onto to get maximum engagement.
Best performing posts
Take a look at your competitors' top posts. What are the types of content that are generating the most engagement? This will give you an idea of what works well for them which might work on yours too!
