How to schedule Google Business posts
Select your Google Business profile, click Create, and choose New post, Bulk publishing, Find content, or Smart publishing.
|
Note Google Business posts have a character limit of 1,500. The preview on the right shows how your post will look. |
Additional posting options
1. Publish as image
Google Business doesn't show link previews, so you can publish the link's preview image instead and turn your link post into an image post.
|
Note If you publish the link preview as an image, the call-to-action button won't appear on your post. |
2. Call-to-action button
You can add a call-to-action button: Book, Order, Shop, Learn more, Sign up, or Call.
3. Post types
- Standard: a regular post with general updates, news, or information about your business.
- Event: promotes an event, with a title, start date, end date, and time.
- Offer: shows discounts, deals, or promotions.
- Alert: shares urgent information, such as unexpected closures or changes to your business hours. You can choose the Standard or Covid 19 alert type.
