The post history export lets you download a CSV of activity on your posts for a selected date range. It covers actions like drafting, editing, assigning, approving, and rejecting posts, along with who took each action and when. This is useful for compliance reviews, audit trails, and tracking how content moves through your approval process.
What this does

What's included in the CSV
Each row in the file represents one action and includes:
- Post ID: the unique ID of the post the action was taken on
- Action type: what happened, for example, edited or approved
- User name: the team member who performed the action
- Description: a summary of the action
- Date: when the action happened, shown in the timezone you selected
- Notes: any notes attached to the action, such as rejection feedback
How to export your post history
- Go to your Calendar.
- Click the export icon in the upper right, next to the Create button.
- Select Post history.
- In the Export post history window, choose your Timezone. All dates in the CSV will use this timezone.
- Set the From date and To date for the period you want to export.
- Click Export CSV.

Open the downloaded file in a spreadsheet tool like Excel or Google Sheets.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I see what a post looked like before it was edited?
A: Not in this export. The CSV shows that an edit happened, who made it, and when, but it doesn't include the previous version of the post content.
Q: What's the difference between this and the calendar CSV export?
A: The calendar export (Export in the same menu) gives you details about the posts themselves, like scheduled times, labels, and performance metrics. The post history export focuses on the activity behind each post, like who drafted, edited, or approved it.
Q: Which timezone are the dates shown in?
A: Dates use the timezone you select in the Export post history window before exporting.
