Vista Social supports voice dictation (speech-to-text), allowing you to speak your message instead of typing it. This makes it faster to create posts, notes, and inbox replies in the platform.
What is voice dictation?
Voice dictation lets you record your voice and automatically convert it into text inside the Vista Social composer. You can pause, resume, and switch languages while recording for better accuracy.
Where to use voice dictation
Voice dictation is available anywhere you see the text composer, including:
-
Post (caption and comment) composer
-
Notes
-
Inbox replies
How to use voice dictation
Open any composer in Vista Social and locate the record (microphone) widget.
When prompted by your browser, allow microphone access. You can choose to allow access while visiting the site or for that session only.
Start speaking, and your words will appear as text in real time. Click the record button again to pause or resume recording at any time.
Select a language for better accuracy
You can choose the language you are speaking by clicking the upward arrow next to the record button.
Selecting the correct language improves transcription accuracy. Vista Social will also remember your most recently used language.
Need further help?
If you don’t see the record button or have trouble enabling microphone access, check your browser’s microphone permissions for Vista Social. Our support team is always happy to help! 💙
