How to add Alt text to your images on Vista Social
There are two ways to add alternative text to your image post:
Method 1: Media Library
- Go to your Media Library and click Images.
- Feel free to add a new image by clicking Add media on the top right corner of the Media Library.
- Once you have the image to which you want to add alt text, click on the action button of that image. Then, click Settings.
- Add your description under Alternative text and hit the Update button!
Method 2: Using the publisher
- Go ahead and create your post. Once you’ve added your image, click on the three-dot action button, then click Settings
- Add your description under Alternative text and hit the Update button!
Key things to check
- Make sure you add the description in the Alternative text field.
- Click Update after entering the description to save it.
- Alt text is supported for images published to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Expected behavior
After you save the Alternative text field, the description is associated with the image in Vista Social and can be used when publishing the image to supported social networks.
