Need fresh content for your calendar? With Find content, you can search the latest news, Instagram hashtags and accounts, royalty-free images and videos, and GIFs. Then turn what you find into a post or save it to your Media Library for later.

How to open Find content
1. Open the Find content window in one of two ways:
- In the Calendar, click the blue Create button in the top-right corner and select Find content (shown below).
- From any page, hover over the left menu, click Create (paper plane icon), and select Find content.
2. Choose where you want to find content.
Find the latest news
Find news articles on topics your audience cares about.
1. Click Find news.
2. Enter a company, product, or keyword and press Enter.
3. Click Read full article to open the article, or click Create a post to share it.
Find content by Instagram hashtag
Find recent public Instagram posts that use a hashtag.
1. Click Hashtag search.
2. Enter a hashtag and press Enter.
3. Select the posts you want and click Create a post.
Find content by Instagram user
Find recent posts from a specific Instagram account.
1. Click User search.
2. Enter the account's username and press Enter.
3. Select the posts you want and click Create a post.
Find images
Find royalty-free images from Unsplash and Pexels.
1. Click Search images.
2. Choose Unsplash or Pexels, enter a keyword, and press Enter.
3. Select the images you want and click Create a post.
Find GIFs
Find animated GIFs from Giphy.
1. Click Search GIFs.
2. Enter a keyword and press Enter.
3. Select the GIFs you want and click Create a post.
Find videos
Find royalty-free videos from Pexels.
1. Click Search videos.
2. Enter a keyword and press Enter.
3. Select the videos you want and click Create a post.
How to use what you find
When you click Create a post, the post composer opens with your selection attached. Add your caption, choose your profiles, then click Next to schedule or publish the post.
To save content for later instead, select it and click Add to media library. You can then use it from your Media Library.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why can't Vista Social find an Instagram account?
A: User search only works with public business or creator profiles. Check that the username is spelled correctly and that the account is public.
Q: Why does my hashtag search return no posts?
A: Instagram only shares recent public posts for a hashtag, so less-used hashtags may not return results. Try a more popular hashtag.
Q: Can I save content without creating a post?
A: Yes. Select the content and click Add to media library. It's saved to your Media Library.
Q: Can I use the images and videos for free?
A: Images and videos come from Unsplash and Pexels, which offer royalty-free content. For Instagram posts, make sure you have permission from the original account before you share them.
