Scheduling Google My Business posts with Vista Social.
To get started, select Google My Business from your list of profiles, hover over the left side menu, then click Create, then choose from four posting options (New post, Bulk publishing, Find content, and Smart publishing) as shown below:

Note GMB currently has a character limit of 1,500, and you can immediately see the post preview on the right side to get an idea of what it would look like once published. |
Additional posting features supported by Vista Social
1. Publish as image:
Since GMB doesn't allow link previews in posts, you can publish the image preview from your link and turn your link post into an image post.

Note If you choose to publish the link preview as an image, the call to action button will not appear on your post. |
2. Call-to-action options:
The call-to-action options that you can possibly use for Google My Business posts are: Book, Order, Shop, Learn More, Sign up, and Call.
3. Post type options:
- Standard - A regular post that allows you to share general updates, news, or information about your business. It's versatile and can be used for various purposes.
- Event - This post type is specifically for promoting events hosted by your business. You can provide details about the event, such as the event title, start date, end date, and time.
- Offer - This lets you showcase discounts, deals, or promotions that your business is currently running. It's a great way to attract customers and encourage them to take action.
- Alert - used to convey urgent information to your customers. It might include announcements about unexpected closures, changes in business operations, or any critical updates. Currently, you can choose between 2 alert types: Standard or COVID-19.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I post videos to Google Business profiles?
A: No, due to API limitations from Google, posting videos is not possible.
