For solo users and freelancers, Vista Social is quick to set up and powerful enough to handle your entire social media workflow on your own. You don't need a team to get value out of Vista Social. Scheduling, planning, and best-time recommendations are just as useful for one person as they are for a team of ten.
This guide covers the essentials to get you publishing quickly.

Single profile group setup
When you sign up for Vista Social, a default profile group is created for you. Simply rename it to match your brand and you're ready to go. You can do this from Settings → Profile groups. Most solo creators only need one profile group, but you can create more if you manage separate brands or clients. See how to create profile groups for more.
Connecting your profiles
Click the + icon on the left-hand side and select Add social profile, then choose which profile group to connect it to and pick your network. You can also connect profiles from Settings → Connected profiles. Follow the prompts for each network, and make sure to allow all requested permissions so nothing breaks later.
Once connected, Vista Social pulls in your recent published posts and analytics. See connecting your profiles to Vista Social for network-specific guides.
Using the browser extension
Install the Vista Social Chrome extension (or the Firefox version) to schedule content directly from any website. Found an interesting article you want to share? Click the extension icon and you'll be taken straight to the Vista Social composer with the URL pre-filled. It's the fastest way to share web content to your social profiles without switching tabs.
Scheduling your first post
Go to Create → New post, or press P on your keyboard. Select the profiles you want to post to, write your caption, and add an image or video if you'd like. Click Schedule, then choose a date and time yourself or click Show optimal times to let Vista Social recommend a time based on your audience's activity. See optimal time suggestions to learn how the recommendations are calculated.
