E-commerce brands can use Vista Social to drive traffic, showcase products, and turn social engagement into sales. Beyond standard scheduling, Vista Social offers features specifically useful for e-commerce, including Vista Page, product tagging, and UGC discovery through Listening.
This guide walks you through the most impactful features to set up first.
In this article:
Link in bio setup
In Vista Social, this is called Vista Page, a landing page you link in your Instagram bio (and other networks). Your followers land on a page with multiple links, product collections, sale pages, new arrivals, and more.
Go to the Pages menu, choose a template or click Generate with AI to draft a page from your website URL, then customize colors, fonts, and content blocks under Appearance and Layout. Click Publish when you're ready, then add your Vista Page link to your Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other bios.
You can also schedule posts directly to your Vista Page from the Publisher, so new content appears on your landing page automatically. See setting up your Vista Page for the full walkthrough.
Product tagging
Product tagging Vista Social supports product tagging for Instagram Shops. When composing a post, click the product tag icon in the composer to search for and tag products from your connected.
Tagged products appear as tappable links in your post, letting followers shop directly from your social content. Make sure your Product Catalog is set up and linked to your Instagram Business account before using this feature. See the Instagram Shop product tagging guide to learn more.
Finding and reposting UGC
User-generated content, photos and posts from your customers, is powerful social proof for e-commerce brands. Use Social Listening to monitor mentions of your brand name, product names, and relevant hashtags.
To get started, go to Listening → Add listener, choose Internal (your own profiles), then add a name, description, and the sources you want to monitor.
When a listener surfaces a customer post worth reposting, click it to jump to the original post or your Inbox, where you can reply or reach out. Always get permission from the original creator before reposting their content.
Scheduling shoppable content
Plan and schedule your shoppable posts the same way you schedule any other content, using the Publisher composer and tagging products as described above. Vista Social includes the tags when the post goes out at its scheduled time.
For best results, schedule shoppable posts around sales events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns using the content calendar.
