What are profile groups?

Profile groups are like containers for a brand, client, group, or project. We group all connected social profiles in Vista Social by profile groups.

This setup makes it easier to manage posts and invite users. It also simplifies running reports for specific networks. It helps keep your workflow efficient.

Profile groups let you group relevant social profiles. This makes it easier to find the profiles you need.

When are profile groups needed?

1. Scheduling posts

You can schedule posts for multiple social profiles in a group at once. Instead of picking each profile, just select the whole group. This saves time and effort. It also keeps your posts organized and neat, as you can choose specific groups to post to.

2. Organizing posts

Every scheduled post goes into a calendar in a Profile Group. This allows you to share calendars with the right content with collaborators or stakeholders.

3. Generating reports

Scheduling reports by profile groups enhances accuracy and detail. It lets you see how well brands, locations, product lines, or projects perform.

How to create profile groups

1. To create a profile group, click on Quick Add → Add Profile Group.

2. Choose a profile group type and fill in the details as shown below (logo and description are optional).

3. Click Save, and you are done!
