Content types that can be published via Vista Social

Types of posts that can be published to Threads

• Single Thread posts (single image, video, or text post)
• Carousels (up to 10 images, videos, or a mix of the two)

Scheduling Threads posts

To get started, hover over the left-side menu, click Create, then choose New Post.

Make sure your Threads profile is selected:

Single Image Thread

Single Video Thread

Text-only Thread

Carousel Thread with only images or videos

Carousel Thread with a mix of images and videos

Links 

The first link made in a text-only post via the API is configured as the link attachment, which displays as a preview card, to make it easier to engage with and click on.

Tags

Tags make posts more social by allowing central topics of discussion.

You can only use one tag per post. The first valid tag included in a post (whether it's text, image, video, or carousel) will be treated as the tag for that post.

Important things to keep in mind when adding a tag to a post:

• Valid tags start with a hash sign (#).
• Periods (.), ampersands (&), and spaces are not allowed in tags, so any tag that starts with a hash sign will end just before the period, ampersand, or blank space.
