When you first connect a social profile to Vista Social, we'll automatically retrieve historical data for that profile dating back up to the previous 60 days.
No data retention limits
We don't believe in data retention limits. This means that you can access your data from the day your profile is connected to Vista Social and forward, regardless of how long ago you want to look back. Whether it was 5 years ago or 10 years ago, you can always go back and see how your content performed on Vista Social.

Note Enterprise customers can request additional historical data for up to 2 years by contacting support. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I received a new comment on an old post, but it’s not showing in my inbox. Why?
A: Vista Social can only retrieve comments from posts that are synced in your account. If the comment was left on a post that predates your connection to Vista Social (for example, a post older than 60 days from your first connection date), most social networks’ APIs do not allow us to fetch that data.
Going forward, comments on newer posts that are synced with Vista Social will appear in your inbox as expected.
Q: Why does my Meta follower count show a big spike of growth after connecting?
A: Because Meta doesn't provide historical follower data to third-party tools, Vista Social starts tracking your follower count from zero at the time of connection. You can, however, customize your report if you want to show/hide specific metrics.
