Encountering the error message below can be frustrating as you're trying to connect your LinkedIn company page to your Vista Social account. 😖
Luckily, this guide will walk you through some quick troubleshooting steps in order to fix this problem and ensure a successful connection between your LinkedIn company page profile and Vista Social!
1. Confirm your access to your company page
You must confirm that you have access to the company page that you want to connect to Vista Social. You can check this by going to your personal LinkedIn account > click on your profile icon at the top right > look under 'Manage' and you should see your company page listed (i.e Company: Daily Planet)
2. Ensure that you are a super-admin of the company page
In addition to what was mentioned above, you must also ensure that you are a Super admin of your company page. Super-admins have the authority to manage all aspects of the page and grant permissions to other users.
Log in as your page by clicking on your profile icon at the top right > under 'Manage', click on your company page's name. Go to Settings > Manage admins, then check what your role says.
