What is a Personal Instagram profile?
A Personal profile is an individual's account for sharing photos, stories, and moments with friends, family, and followers. Unlike Business or Creator profiles, it isn't meant for brands, influencers, or public figures.
What you can do with a Personal profile
When you connect a Personal profile, you get:
- Reminder publishing (you get a push notification to post; direct publishing isn't available)
- Content planning
- AI tools (availability depends on your plan and on having AI credits available)
Because of Instagram API limitations, direct publishing, engagement tools, DM automations, and analytics and reporting are not available for Personal profiles.
