When you try to connect your Instagram profile to Vista Social, you will be presented with 3 choices: Business, Creator, and Personal. In this article, we will explain what these types are and what features will be available to each profile type within Vista Social once connected.
Types of Instagram Profiles:
There are three types of Instagram profiles: Personal, Creator, and Business.
- Personal: This is the most basic type of Instagram account. It is designed for individuals who use the platform for personal use. With a personal account, you can share photos and videos, follow other users, and engage with content through likes, comments, and direct messages.
-
Creator: This type of account is designed for individuals who create and share content on Instagram. It is similar to a personal account, but it includes additional features, such as insights into your audience and the ability to monetize your content. Instagram Creators can also give their business partners permission to turn their branded content posts and stories into ads. So, when a Creator collaborates with a business to create a branded content post or story, they can allow their business partner to boost that post as an ad.
- Business: This type of account is perfectly designed for businesses and brands that use Instagram to promote their products and services. It includes features that are not available on personal accounts, such as the ability to run ads, access to analytics, and the ability to add a call-to-action button to your profile.
Why we recommend Instagram Business and Creator:
Simply put, Instagram Business and Creator profiles have the most features when it comes to managing it through a 3rd party tool like Vista Social. With Instagram Business or Creator account, you can directly publish, plan your content in advance, respond to conversations through the inbox, and run detailed performance reports.
|
Note: IG Stories auto-publishing is unfortunately, not available for creator profiles due to 3rd-party limitations from Meta. You may use reminder publishing instead! |
While we do support Personal profiles as well, it's important to note that these profiles have limited access to Instagram features. You can see a comparison of the available features for each profile type above to help you decide which one to use for your social media marketing needs.
Regardless of your profile type, Vista Social offers a suite of tools and features to help you manage your Instagram account efficiently!
