Types of Instagram Profiles
There are three types of Instagram profiles: Personal, Creator, and Business.
- Personal: This is the most basic type of Instagram account. It is designed for individuals who use the platform for personal use. With a personal account, you can share photos and videos, follow other users, and engage with content through likes, comments, and direct messages.
-
Creator: This type of account is designed for individuals who create and share content on Instagram. It is similar to a personal account, but it includes additional features, such as insights into your audience and the ability to monetize your content. Instagram Creators can also give their business partners permission to turn their branded content posts and stories into ads. So, when a Creator collaborates with a business to create a branded content post or story, they can allow their business partner to boost that post as an ad.
- Business: This type of account is perfectly designed for businesses and brands that use Instagram to promote their products and services. It includes features that are not available on personal accounts, such as the ability to run ads, access to analytics, and the ability to add a call-to-action button to your profile.
Why we recommend Instagram Business and Creator:
Instagram Business and Creator profiles offer great features when used with a third-party tool like Vista Social. With these profiles, you can publish directly, plan content ahead of time, manage conversations through the inbox, and access detailed performance reports. On the other hand, Personal profiles can only schedule posts through notification reminders due to limitations with third-party tools.
|
Note: Auto-publishing of stories is not available for creator profiles due to third-party limitations from Meta. You may use reminder publishing instead! |
