If you're an agency or marketer, you may manage access and permissions through Meta Business Manager (Business settings in Meta Business Suite). This article shows how to get access to a client's Facebook Page and Instagram Business profile, so you can connect them to Vista Social.
Video guide
If your client has their own Business Manager
Your client adds your business as a partner and shares their assets with you:
1. In their Business settings, your client goes to Users > Partners and clicks Add.
2. They enter your Partner business ID and click Next.
3. They select the Facebook Page and turn on all permissions (full control).
4. They select the Instagram account and turn on all permissions too, then click Save changes.
|
Note Make sure your client turns on all permissions for both the Page and the Instagram account. With partial access, connecting the profiles to Vista Social can fail. |
If your client manages the Page directly (no Business Manager)
You request access from your own Business Manager:
1. In your Business settings, go to Accounts > Pages, click Add, and choose Request access to a Page.
2. Enter the name or link of your client's Page.
3. Your client approves the request in their Page access settings.
4. Go to Accounts > Instagram accounts, click Add, and log in with the client's Instagram account (or ask your client to do it).
Once you have full access, you can connect the profiles to Vista Social.
