If a client gave you access to their Facebook page through Meta Business Suite (Business Manager), but you can't connect it to Vista Social, check that you have full control (admin access) of the business portfolio.
Without full control, connecting Facebook or Instagram profiles can fail because of missing permissions.
How to check your business portfolio access
1. Go to business.facebook.com and log in with the account that was added to the client's business.
2. If you manage more than one business, click the dropdown at the top left and select the right business portfolio.
3. In the left sidebar, click Settings > People. You'll see everyone who has access to the business.
4. Click your name in the list to see your assigned access.
5. Under Business portfolio access and Business assets, check your access level:
- Full control (admin access): You can connect pages and assets to third-party tools like Vista Social.
- Partial access: You can manage content, but you can't connect or manage integrations.
6. If you don't have full control, ask the page or business owner to go to Settings > People, edit your permissions, and turn on Full control for your profile.
Once you have full control of the client's business portfolio and business assets (Facebook page and Instagram profile), you can connect the profiles to Vista Social.
