When another Instagram account invites your connected profile to collaborate on a post or reel, the invite shows up in your Vista Social inbox. You can accept or decline it right there, without opening the Instagram app.
How to accept an Instagram collab invite
1. Go to your Inbox.
2. Find the message from the account that invited you. It's labeled Invite to followed by your profile handle.
3. Click the three dots on the message and select Accept invite.
4. A window shows which account sent the invite. Click Accept to confirm the collaboration, or Decline if you don't want to be added as a collaborator.
Good to know
- To see only invites, open the inbox filters and select Invites under message type.
- The Mark as completed checkbox is checked by default. It marks the conversation as completed once you accept or decline.
- If you decline, you won't appear as a collaborator on that post or reel.
