Where to find the error
Open the failed post in your Calendar. The error TikTok sent back shows on the post.
spam_risk
What it means: TikTok's systems flagged the post or the account's recent activity as automated or overly promotional, so TikTok didn't publish it. This comes from TikTok, not Vista Social.
How to fix it:
- Change the post before republishing. Avoid reusing the same caption, hashtags, emojis or promotional text from your other videos.
- Don't post the same video more than once, on the same profile or across several TikTok profiles. TikTok often flags repeated videos as spam. Space out your posts on the same profile.
- Limit links and calls to action in the caption.
- In the TikTok app, check Settings and privacy → Account → Account status for restrictions or a guideline notice you can appeal.
- If the account was restricted, pause posting for a few days, then republish the post.
- If you keep seeing spam_risk, reach out to our support team.
Activity outside Vista Social counts too. Liking, sharing, commenting or sending the same message many times in a row can also trigger spam_risk.
frame_rate_check_failed
What it means: The video's frame rate (FPS) is outside what TikTok supports.
How to fix it:
- Export the video again at a steady frame rate between 23 and 60 FPS. A standard 30 FPS preset in your editing app works well.
- Upload the new file and republish the post.
- If it still fails, try a different video to rule out a damaged file. If that works, the original file is the problem.
Uploaded. Waiting for TikTok to finish processing.
What it means: This isn't an error. Vista Social sent the video, and TikTok is still processing it before it goes live.
What to expect:
- The post usually goes live once TikTok finishes processing. You don't need to republish it.
