How to run a sentiment analysis report
- Go to Reports → Sentiment Analysis, then select the data you want to report on:
- All Data: Analyze sentiment across every comment, message, and mention
- Campaigns: Focus on sentiment from specific posts from a campaign using post labels
- Listener: Generate sentiment data from specific listeners
- Customize the report to cover a specific period that aligns with your campaigns or review cycles. You may also set the period of comparison for your metrics.
- If you'd like to schedule the report for the future, go to Reports → Schedule report → Select report type → Sentiment analysis
Metrics provided in the sentiment analysis report
Summary of sentiments, including positive, negative, neutral, and mixed.
Overall sentiment ranked on a scale of -10 (negative) to 10 (positive)
Daily sentiment, breaking down your daily interactions by expressed sentiment
Count of total sentiments by type (positive, negative, neutral, mixed)
Sentiment trends, showing top positive and negative themes
