By default, Vista Social processes all videos before publishing them to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. This happens due to fairly strict video specification rules by each of these platforms.
As users upload videos to schedule with Vista Social, our video processing helps make the process more seamless by auto adjusting the video to fit the necessary specs. 📹

Disabling Video Processing
It is possible however, that some reduction of quality may occur as a result of our video processing. If this happens and if you are sure that you are uploading videos that have correct specs, you can disable this processing by going to Settings > Publishing Settings > Video Processing
Keep in mind that the following features will not work when Video Processing is disabled:
- Custom video thumbnail uploads
- Applying custom sounds/trending sounds to videos

Publishing videos without our video processing turned on will result in higher error rates simply because your format has to be exactly right. It may be quite difficult to get the format exactly right. |
When you upload videos using native social apps/websites (i..e Instagram or TikTok), they actually do quite a bit of processing on their end. However, when uploading using tools like Vista Social, those networks require the video to be in an exact format.
Turning off our video processing will bypass all our changes and present the video to each network untouched, just as you uploaded it to your media library.
