Vista Social supports several ways to log in, so you can choose the option that fits your workflow and your organization's security requirements. This article covers each login method, who can use it, and what to do if you run into trouble.
Login methods
- Email and password - the standard way to log in, available on all plans
- Login with Google - sign in using your Google account instead of a password
- Login with passkey - sign in using your device's biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) or a security key, instead of a password
- Single sign-on (SSO) - sign in through your organization's identity provider, available on the Enterprise plan only
How to log in with email and password
- Go to the Vista Social login page.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click Login.
If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the login page to reset it.
How to log in with Google
- Go to the Vista Social login page.
- Click Login with Google.
- Choose your Google account and follow the prompts to complete sign-in.
Your Google account must use the same email address as your Vista Social account.

- Go to the Vista Social login page.
- Click Login with passkey.
- Follow your device's prompt to verify your identity (fingerprint, face recognition, or security key).

Note You need to set up a passkey on your account before you can use this option to log in. |
How to log in with single sign-on (SSO)
SSO lets your team log in to Vista Social using your organization's identity provider (such as Okta, Azure AD, Google, or OneLogin), instead of a separate Vista Social password.
- SSO is available on the Enterprise plan only
- Once SSO is enabled for your domain, users must log in through SSO. The email and password option will no longer work for them
- Setup is handled with Vista Social's support team working alongside your organization's IT team
Important notes
- If SSO is enabled for your domain, you won't be able to reset your Vista Social password or use email and password to log in
- Google login and SSO both depend on the email address matching your Vista Social account
- If your account gets locked out, use the Forgot password? link or reach out to support
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I switch between login methods?
A: If your account doesn't have SSO enabled, yes. You can use email and password, Google, or a passkey depending on what's set up on your account.
Q: Why don't I see the SSO login option?
A: SSO is only available on the Enterprise plan. If you're on Enterprise and don't see it, reach out to your account manager to get it configured for your domain.
Q: I set up SSO. Can I still use my Vista Social password?
A: No. Once SSO is configured for your domain, the email and password login option no longer works, and you won't be able to reset your Vista Social password.
Q: What happens if I lose access to my passkey device?
A: Use another available login method, such as email and password, or contact support to help restore access.
