You can label your posts to group and categorize posts based on topic, brand, business objectives, and marketing strategies. This guide shows you how to quickly add and manage a post label when scheduling your content.

How to create a post label in Vista Social

1. Click Create to get to the content scheduling window.

2. Type in your content + link or media.

3. Right below the media, you will see an option for adding labels, click the small triangle icon to see a dropdown of the previously added labels.

4. To create a new label, click on the Select labels field and begin typing. Click Create to add the label.

5. You may add as many labels as you wish. Once you are done, schedule your post and you are all set!

How to manage your post labels

You can edit existing labels, remove outdated ones, or add vibrant colors for better categorization. Here's how:

1. In the publisher, click on the gear icon.

2. Find the label you want to manage and click on the pencil icon on its far right.

3. The settings page for the selected post label will come up. You can do the following:

Rename your label

To change the name of your label, simply click inside the box, remove the previous name and add a new one.

Change the background color

You can customize the appearance of your post label by selecting a background color. Use the "Color" tab to pick from a wide range of solid colors, or the "Gradient" tab for more dynamic, multicolor options.
