Follow the steps below to connect your Google Business listing to Vista Social.
Important Before you start, make sure you're signed in to the Google account that has admin access to the Google Business listing you want to connect. |
How to connect your Google Business listing
1. Log in to your Vista Social account and go to Quick add → Add a social profile.
2. Choose the profile group you want to add the profile to. If the profile group isn't on the list yet, click Create new profile group. Then click Continue.
3. Find Google Business in the list of social networks and click Connect.
4. You'll be redirected to Google. Choose the account that manages the listing.
5. On the authorization screen, check See, edit, create, and delete your Google business listings and click Continue.
6. You'll see the list of Google Business listings you own or manage. Select the listing you want to connect and click Connect at the bottom of the screen.
7. Once the listing is connected, you'll get a notification and the profile will appear under Profile Management.
Troubleshooting Google Business connection problems
If you can't connect your listing, the cause is usually one of the two problems below.
Problem 1: Permissions weren't granted
1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
2. Find Vista Social in the list of apps and click it.
3. Check that both of the services below are enabled.
If one of them is missing, Vista Social isn't fully authorized. Connect Google Business again and the missing permission will be granted automatically.
Problem 2: Google My Business is turned off in your Google Workspace
1. Go to admin.google.com/ac/appslist/additional.
2. Check that Google My Business is in the list of additional services and that it's turned on.
3. If it's off, turn it on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why don't I see my listing in step 6?
A: Make sure you're signed in to the Google account that owns or manages the listing. If you use Google Workspace, check Problem 2 above.
Q: Can I connect several listings at once?
A: Yes. In step 6, select every listing you want to connect before clicking Connect.
Q: My Google Business profile disconnected. What should I do?
A: Reconnect it by following How to reconnect/disconnect profiles.
Q: Can a team member connect the Google Business profile for me?
