Team conversations let you collaborate privately with your team (through internal notes) directly inside the inbox. This is useful when you need internal approvals, want to assign tasks, or need to discuss a message without responding to the customer.

How to start a team conversation
Open the message you want to discuss.
Click the team conversation widget under the message.
A panel will open on the right side of the screen where you can add internal notes.
How to mention a teammate
In the text field at the bottom of the panel, type @ and select the teammate you want to notify.
Type your internal comment or question.
Click the paper plane button to send the note.
The teammate will receive a notification inside Vista Social. The customer will not see any of these internal notes.
How team conversation threads work
Internal messages appear in a yellow box, showing who created the note and when your teammates can reply directly in the same thread to keep the internal discussion organized.
