By default, Vista Social processes all images before sending them over to social networks. This is necessary due to the strict image specification rules set by each of these social media platform.
When users upload images to schedule with Vista Social, our image processing feature ensures a seamless experience by automatically adjusting the image to meet the required specifications.
Disabling image processing
However, it's possible that some reduction in image quality may occur as a result of our image processing. If this happens, and you are confident that your images meet the correct specifications, you can disable image processing by navigating to Settings → Publishing Settings → Media Processing.
|
Note: Publishing images without our image processing enabled may result in higher error rates because your image format must be exactly correct. Ensuring precise formatting can be challenging. |
When you upload images using native social apps or websites (e.g., Instagram or Facebook), these platforms handle processing on their end. However, when using tools like Vista Social, these networks require the image to be in a precise format.
Disabling image processing in Vista Social will bypass all automatic adjustments, and the image will be presented to each network exactly as it was uploaded to your media library.
