Vista Social provides built-in AI insights for your uploaded images and videos, helping you understand how your content might perform before you publish it.
What this feature does
When you upload a video or image, Vista Social automatically analyzes the content and provides insights such as:
- Estimated completion rate (for videos)
- Scroll-stopping power
- Content type (e.g., promotional, educational)
- Platform fit (which networks your content is best suited for)
- Key strengths and weaknesses
- A short content summary
- Auto-generated title (images and videos)
- Auto-generated description (images and videos)
- Auto-generated alt text (images)
These insights help you make informed decisions and improve your content before publishing.
Where to find these insights
- Upload a video or image to your media library or post composer
- Click on the media file
- View the insights panel in the media preview
|
Note Insights may take a few minutes to appear after uploading. |
What kind of insights you'll see
For videos
- Completion rate: Likelihood viewers will watch until the end
- Scroll-stopping power: How likely the content is to grab attention
- Pacing and engagement signals
- Auto-generated title and description
For images
- Scroll-stopping power
- Content type
- Visual strengths and areas for improvement
- Auto-generated title, description, and alt text
Platform fit
The system evaluates how well your content fits different platforms. You'll see suggestions on where your content performs best and where it may need adjustments.
Strengths and improvement suggestions
Each piece of media includes:
- What's working well (e.g., strong visuals, engaging subject)
- What can be improved (e.g., no call-to-action, busy background)
These suggestions help you optimize your content for better engagement.
Performance insights vs. brand compliance
Semantic Analysis is about performance. It predicts how a piece of media is likely to do and where it fits best. It doesn't decide whether the content follows your brand rules.
That's a separate check. If your profile group has an active Brand Safety and Compliance policy, the same images and videos are also scored against your guidelines, and anything off-policy is flagged. The two run side by side on upload: one tells you how the content will perform, the other tells you whether it's safe to publish.
Note: Brand compliance checks are part of the Brand Safety and Compliance feature (Enterprise or add-on). See Brand Safety and Compliance Policy. |
