You might be customizing your video's thumbnail, and came across this error:
Error: "Custom thumbnail size [thumbnail dimensions] must match the size of the video [video dimensions]."
This error occurs when your custom thumbnail’s dimensions do not match your video’s dimensions.
How to fix it
Simply put, your thumbnail must have the exact same dimensions as your video.
Example: If your video is 1080x1920, your thumbnail must also be 1080x1920.
Steps to adjust your thumbnail's dimensions
Click the pencil icon on your thumbnail.
Use the built-in editor to crop or resize the image to match your video’s dimensions.
- If your thumbnail doesn't match your video's dimensions, you can crop it by clicking on the pencil icon.
Save your changes and reapply the thumbnail.
