Planning your posts ahead of time is a great way to stay on top of things and keep your content flowing smoothly. But sometimes, plans change, and you might need to tweak the schedule. No worries – it’s super easy to adjust the timing of a scheduled post!
- To start, locate the scheduled post you want to edit.
- Click on the post to open the details.
- In the post details, click the upward arrow next to the Continue button at the bottom right.
- From the dropdown menu, select Continue & edit schedule.
- The scheduling screen opens. Click the date field to pick a new date, then set the time. If the post goes to more than one profile, each profile has its own date and time.
- After selecting the desired time, save your changes by clicking Schedule. Your post will now be rescheduled to the new date and time.
How to drag a post to a new date
You can also reschedule a post right from the calendar.
- Click and hold the scheduled post.
- Drag it to the new day and drop it there.
The post moves to the new date and keeps its scheduled time.
Move a post to another month
- Start dragging the post. An arrow appears on each side of the calendar, labeled with the previous and next month (for example, NOV and JAN).
- Hold the post over an arrow for about a second. The calendar switches to that month.
- Keep holding to move another month in the same direction.
- Drop the post on the day you want.
In Weekly and Daily views, the arrows move to the previous or next week or day. Drag and drop isn't available in condensed view.
