(#503) Service Unavailable
Recommendation
The X servers are up, but are overloaded with requests. X's team recommends trying the post again later (5-10 minutes should be enough).
This post is too similar to the one published on {date}. X policy requires that all posts published to a profile be substantially different.
Recommendation
This error appears when your post is too similar to one previously published on the same profile. X has specific guidelines to prevent spam and improve the user experience.
As of February 2018, X’s policy does not allow identical or substantially similar content to be scheduled or posted within 72 hours of each other on the same profile.
To resolve this:
Try rewording your post to make it unique.
Wait at least 72 hours before reposting similar content.
For more details, see our guide: X’s limitations with sharing duplicate content
You are not permitted to perform this action.
Recommendation
This error typically means your post exceeds the character limit allowed by X.
Most X users are limited to 280 characters
X Premium users are allowed up to 25,000 characters
To resolve this:
Check your post’s character count. Our in-app character counter turns red when your content goes over the limit
If the counter shows your post is within the limit and you’re still seeing this error, please contact our support team and be sure to include the exact post text you attempted to publish so we can run tests and investigate further
