Vista Home: Customize your dashboard

Vista home is the default landing page you see when you log in. It's a customizable, AI-first dashboard that answers three questions at a glance: what's happening across your profiles, what Vista is already doing for you, and what you should do next.

Ask Vista

At the top of Vista home, Ask Vista is ready to act on anything you see on the board. You can type a request to draft, analyze, schedule, or report on your accounts, or use one of the suggestion chips, which are personalized based on your account's actual activity, such as a pending inbox reply count or an underperforming post worth boosting.

Your widget board

Vista home is made up of widgets grouped into six categories: Insights, Content, Agents, Inbox, Trends, and Work.

• Drag and drop widgets to reorder your board.
• Resize any widget to small, medium, or large.
• Remove widgets you don't use, or reset your board back to the default layout at any time.

Your layout is saved per user, so your board won't change unless you change it.

Widgets you'll see

Some of the widgets available on Vista home include:

• Performance pulse: engagement, reach, and follower movement, plus your top post
• Best time to post: your ranked posting windows and a week heatmap built from your own history, with one-click scheduling into a window
  
• Needs your attention: failed posts, pending approvals, profiles that need reconnecting, and starred messages waiting on you
• Inbox overview: conversations waiting on a reply, your average reply time, and message volume by network
  
• Industry benchmark: how your performance compares against your industry (available on select plans)
• Reviews: unanswered reviews with low-star ones surfaced first, so you can reply or use an AI-drafted response inline
• Agents working for you: your named AI agent roster with a summary of each agent's last run
• Your week with Vista: an estimate of the hours Vista saved you this period across agents, automations, and AI drafts
  
• Opportunities: real adoption gaps, like inbound messages with no automation set up, or posts going out consistently outside your best-time windows, with a one-click handoff to Ask Vista to fix it
• Top posts, top hashtags, and audience growth: quick performance snapshots without opening a full report
  
• Project pulse and my work: your open tasks and project status, if you use Vista Social's work tools
• What's new: recent product updates and changes
  

Multi-profile scoping for agencies and teams

Every widget on Vista home respects your profile selector, so the same board can roll up performance across all your brands or narrow down to a single client, for up to 500 profiles.

Admins can control who sees and customizes the board:

• Manage: can customize the board's layout and widgets
• View: sees a read-only version of the board
• None: doesn't have access to Vista Home

This makes it possible to give clients or junior team members a safe, read-only view without giving them the ability to change the layout.

Getting started view for new accounts

If you're new to Vista Social, your Vista home starts with a Getting started view instead of the full widget board. It walks you through connecting your profiles, inviting your team, and scheduling your first post. Once you complete these steps, your account graduates to the full dashboard. Learn more here.

Best practices

• Customize your board around your role. A community manager, an analyst, and an agency owner will likely want very different layouts.
• Check the Opportunities widget regularly. It flags real gaps in how you're using Vista Social, like missed automations or suboptimal posting times.
• If you manage multiple clients, set up dashboard permissions so each client only sees their own read-only view.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I go back to the old dashboard?

A: Vista Home is now the default landing page for every account. Your layout is fully customizable, so you can remove or resize widgets to match how you used the previous dashboard.

Q: Will my board layout reset if Vista Social makes updates?

A: No. Your layout is saved per user and won't be overwritten. You can reset it back to the default layout yourself at any time if you want to.

Q: Can I share my Vista home dashboard with a client outside Vista Social?

A: Not directly. Vista home doesn't support shared links, scheduled emails, or PDF export. Instead, give clients a read-only (View) permission level, or use Reports for shareable exports.

Q: What does the Industry benchmark widget compare me against?

A: It shows how your performance compares against industry deciles. This widget is available on select plans.
