With Automations, Vista Social can moderate comments for you. Hide or delete unwanted comments, like spam, negative keywords, or inappropriate content, as soon as they come in.
What you can do
- Hide comments that match your conditions
- Delete comments permanently
- Detect intent with AI, for example negative comments about your brand
- Filter comments by keywords or phrases
This helps you keep your community clean, safe, and on-brand at scale.
How to set it up
Step 1: Create an automation
1. Go to Automations.
2. Click Create automation.
3. Select Create from scratch and click Continue. You can also explore the Ready-to-go templates for other automations.
Step 2: Set the trigger
1. Enter a name for the automation and select the social profile it will run on.
2. Under Event, choose Comments on post or reel, then choose All posts or Specific posts.
3. Set when the automation runs:
- Detect intent: describe it in your own words, for example "if the comment says something bad about my product".
- Must include keywords: for example spam words or offensive terms.
- Must not contain keywords: exclude safe phrases if needed.
4. Click Continue.
Step 3: Choose the action
1. Select one of these actions:
- Hide comment: removes the comment from public view. Recommended for moderation.
- Remove comment: deletes the comment permanently.
2. If you want, click Add another action.
3. Click Save and Set Live.
That's it. Any comment that matches your conditions will be hidden or deleted automatically.
