One of the greatest advantages of having a social media management tool like Vista Social is the ability to schedule bulk posts in one go, so you won't have to spend hours of your precious time scheduling each post manually.
In this guide, we will show the six bulk publishing options you'll be able to use with Vista Social:

To get started with bulk publishing, go to Create → Bulk publishing.
8 Types of Bulk Publishing
1. Import a CSV file
This allows you to create posts in a spreadsheet and upload them all together.
a. To import from CSV, click on Import from CSV on the Import content page.
b. Click on Download Sample to get a sample template to follow.
c. You will then download a CSV file. This sample offers several examples of how to schedule posts:
- An example of just an image post to publish now
- An example of just a video post to publish now
- An example of an article post and a specific date and time
- An example of an Article post to publish today at a specific time
- An example of a post to queue next
- An example of a post to queue last
- An example of a multi-image post (Click here to learn more)

d. Once done, click on Upload CSV File and then upload the CSV file. You may also import your file from your online cloud storage.
e. Select the posts you want to add to your calendar. Note that you can click on each post to modify the content and posting time. Click Next.
f. Click Schedule or Publish Now to schedule the bulk post
g. That's it. You will then receive a confirmation that the post has been scheduled.
2. Import a blog
This allows you to choose the latest articles from a blog or a website. This option is only available for websites providing an RSS feed.
a. To import from a blog, click on Import from RSS on the Import content page.
b. Insert the RSS link or a link to the blog then click on Import then click Next.
c. A list of recent posts from the RSS feed will appear. Select the posts you want to add to your calendar. Note that you can click on each post to modify the content and posting time. Click Next.
d. You will receive a prompt message, then select Schedule.
e. You will then receive a message that your post has been scheduled.
3. Import latest news
You can find articles based on the topics your audience might be interested in.

a. To search for content based on keywords, type the keyword you want and click Find posts.
b. You will find a list of related articles. Choose the article/s that you want to schedule.
c. You can either modify the post per network or leave it as is. Click Next.
d. Confirm the selected posts and click Schedule.
e. You will then receive a notification that the post has been scheduled.
4. Import from Instagram hashtag
a. To get content from an Instagram hashtag, click Hashtag search
b. Type the hashtag that you want to find content from and click Find posts
c. Select the content that you want to schedule. You may click on each content to edit the post and the scheduled time to post.
d. Go to Next and click Schedule.
5. Import from Instagram user
a. To get content from an Instagram user, click User search
b. Type the Instagram handle of the user that you want to find content from and click Find posts
c. Select the content that you want to schedule. You may click on each content to edit the post and the scheduled time to post.
d. Go to Next and click Schedule.
6. Import media
a. You will have the option to upload multiple images or videos. Click on one of them and select how you want to upload your media.
- Upload from computer (media from your local drive)
- Choose from media library (images already in Vista Social media library)
- Discover (stock photo library)
b. Once you have selected the media, they will appear listed as shown below. By default, the name of the file was used to prefill the post message (if there's any). Click on each post to edit it.
c. Once you have modified the text, click Save changes and you will be directed back to the list of media. Select another media and do the same until you are happy with the message added to each media.
d. Back on the list of posts, tick to select the posts you want to schedule and click Next. You will see a pop-up message similar to the one below. Click Schedule to confirm.
7. Repurpose existing posts
a. You can easily duplicate and edit previously published posts for reuse across one or more social profiles.
b. Click Find posts. You'll be taken to the calendar's list view.
c. Select the posts you want to repurpose by checking the boxes next to them.
d. Click the Repurpose button at the bottom of the screen.
e. In the repurpose window, you’ll see a list of the selected posts. Click into each post to make any edits (text, media, etc.).
f. After editing, click Save changes, and you should return to the full list.
g. Set the publishing method: choose to queue the post, save as a draft, or an idea. If you want to schedule the posts for a specific date and time, simply click on each one to set the desired schedule.
h. Select the posts you want to schedule and click Next to complete the process. You can assign the posts for review or schedule them without going through approval.
That's it! Your posts are now repurposed and ready to go out.
8. Generate with AI
a. Let our AI Assistant generate content for you.
b. Click Generate with AI. A window with fields to fill out will appear from the right.
- What would you like the post to be about? Enter your topic (e.g., "Healthy breakfasts and exotic food").
- What is your target audience? Enter who you’re creating posts for (e.g., "Busy working professionals worldwide").
- Number of posts to generate – Type the number of posts you want (e.g., 5).
- Include an image – Toggle this option on if you want images included. You can specify keywords if this is enabled.
c. Posts will be generated based on what you specified in the fields. Click Use it on the posts you have selected for scheduling. You may also select all posts.
d. You can also click Generate another post if you need more post options.
e. Click Use selected to send the posts to the bulk publishing modal.
f. Select the posts you want to schedule and click Next to complete the process. You can assign the posts for review or schedule them without going through approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the different ways to bulk publish in Vista Social?
A: You can bulk publish using six options: Upload a CSV file, Import from a blog (via RSS feed), Import latest news (via Bing News), Import from Instagram hashtags, Import from Instagram users, Import images or videos directly
Q: Can I use a single CSV file to post across multiple profiles?
A: Not quite. You’ll select the profile(s) after uploading the file, so if you’re publishing to different profiles, you’ll need separate CSV files for each.
Q: What if there’s an issue with my CSV upload?
A: If something’s off (like a formatting or date issue), we’ll show you a clear error with the exact line number so you can fix it fast.
Q: How many posts can I bulk schedule at once?
A: You can upload up to 100 posts per CSV file. There’s no limit to how many times you upload.
Q: Can I edit posts before publishing them?
A: Yes! Regardless of the method you use (CSV, RSS, news, hashtag, user, or media), you’ll always get a preview screen where you can fine-tune your post content and schedule.
Q: How do I import posts from a blog or news site?
A: Use the RSS or News import option. Just paste in the RSS feed or enter a topic keyword to pull in the latest articles. You can choose, edit, and schedule them from there.
Q: Can I reuse content from Instagram?
A: Definitely. You can bulk import public Instagram posts using either a hashtag or username. Then select and schedule the ones you want to repurpose.
Q: Can I upload images or videos in bulk without a CSV?
A: Yes! Just drag and drop or choose files from your computer, media library, or our stock photo library. You’ll be able to add captions and schedule them right away.
Q: Where can I find the sample CSV format?

Q: How to I bulk post to a specific publishing queue label?
A: You can choose which labeled queue to schedule your bulk posts to by first selecting the queue option (between last, next, and available), and then using the "All queue labels" dropdown that will show up in the top right, and selecting your queue label.
