With a profile connect link, you can invite people outside your organization, like clients, to connect their social profiles to your Vista Social account. They don't need to log in, and they don't count towards your user seats.
This means you don't need to add clients as team members just to connect their profiles, which makes onboarding simpler and keeps your account more secure.
How to create a profile connect link
1. In Vista Social, go to Settings → Profile Groups.
2. Select the profile group you want the profiles added to and open the Profiles tab.
3. Click Get connect link. Vista Social will generate a secure invitation link.
4. Copy the link and send it to your client or the person who will connect the profile. They can follow the instructions on the page without logging in.
How to connect profiles as an invitee
If a Vista Social user sent you a profile connect link, follow these steps:

1. Open the link. You'll see the list of social networks you can connect.
2. Select the network you want to connect. Then enter your details so the account owner knows who connected the profile.
3. Continue with the connection steps for that network. The process varies by network. For guidance on each one, see Connecting your profiles to Vista Social.

A: Yes. Any profile connected with the profile connect link counts towards the number of profiles included in your plan.
Q: Does the invitee count towards my user seats?
A: No. People who connect profiles with the link aren't added as users, so they don't use a seat.
Q: Which profile group will the profiles be added to?
A: The profile group you created the link from in step 2.
Q: The invitee is having trouble connecting. What should they check?
A: Make sure they're not logged in to any Vista Social account in that browser, and that they're signed in to the social account they want to connect.
