Ask Vista is available on the Vista Social mobile app, giving you access to your AI assistant, agents, and skills wherever you are. You can start new conversations, manage running agents, and browse or configure skills directly from your phone.
How to access Ask Vista on mobile
Ask Vista is accessible from the bottom navigation bar in the Vista Social mobile app.
- Open the Vista Social app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Ask Vista button (the sparkle icon) in the center of the bottom navigation bar.
- The Ask Vista interface will open.
Ask Vista home screen
When you open Ask Vista, you'll see a greeting along with the chat input at the bottom of the screen.
- Prompt field: Tap "What would you like to do today?" to type your request.
- + button: Tap to attach files or media to your message. Options include Media library, Camera, Videos, Photos, and Documents.
- Profile group selector: Tap the pill button (showing your active profile group name) to switch which profile group Ask Vista is working with.
- Suggestions: Tap the Suggestions button to browse pre-written prompt ideas you can send directly.
Sidebar menu
Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner to open the Ask Vista sidebar. From here you can:
- New chat: Start a fresh Ask Vista conversation.
- Search: Search through your previous Ask Vista chats to find earlier conversations and results.
- Agents: View and manage your AI agents.
- Skills: Browse and configure your available skills.
The Recents section lists your most recent conversations. A blue dot next to a conversation means there is an unread response or update waiting for you in that chat.
Tap View all conversations to see your full conversation history.
Agents
The Agents section shows all agents you have set up, including their schedule and current status.
To access your agents:
- Tap the menu icon in Ask Vista.
- Tap Agents.
Each agent card shows:
- The agent's name and role description
- Its schedule (for example, "Every Monday at 9:00 AM")
- Time until its next run
- Estimated time saved over the past month
- A status badge: Active or Off duty
Tap + New agent to create a new agent.
To browse available agents to add:
- From the Agents screen, you can access Browse agents.
- Agents are grouped into categories such as Recommended for you and Daily briefings.
- Each agent card shows its name, role, a short description, and the estimated time it saves per month.
- Tap Tap to preview to learn more about an agent before activating it.
Skills
Skills are reusable AI-powered actions that you can trigger in Ask Vista to automate specific tasks. The Skills screen lists all available skills, including system skills that come built in.
To access your skills:
- Tap the menu icon in Ask Vista.
- Tap Skills.
Each skill card shows:
- The skill name
- A System badge if it is a built-in skill
- A short description of what the skill does
- A toggle to enable or disable the skill
To add a new skill, tap the + button in the top right corner of the Skills screen. You can create a new skill or import one using a SKILL.md file.
