How to manage your AI features per profile group

The AI settings tab in Profile Groups lets you control which AI features are active for each profile group. Turn every AI feature on or off at once, or manage each one on its own based on how your team works with that brand or client.

 

How to access AI settings

  1. Go to Settings in your Vista Social dashboard.
  2. In the left menu, click Profile Groups.

  3. Select the profile group you want to manage.
  4. Click the AI settings tab.

 

Available AI features

Each toggle controls one AI capability for the selected profile group. All features are on by default.

  • All AI options: a master toggle that turns every AI feature in the profile group on or off with a single update. Turning this off overrides all individual settings below it.
  • AI report summary: adds an AI-written summary to your reports, highlighting key performance changes and trends.
  • AI conversation summary: summarizes long inbox conversations so your team can catch up at a glance.
  • Media semantic analysis: analyzes uploaded images and videos to generate analytics insights and support compliance checks.
  • Image generation: allows AI image generation tools in Compose and media workflows for this profile group.
  • Video generation: allows AI video generation tools in Compose and media workflows for this profile group.
  • Caption generator: allows AI caption writing helpers, including guided and advanced text generation modes.
  • Idea generator: allows AI-generated ideas in the Ideas workspace.
  • Smart publishing: allows AI-powered Smart Publishing workflows and automations.
  • Sentiment analysis: allows automatic sentiment analysis processing for inbox conversations and related analytics.

 

How to turn a feature on or off

  1. Go to Settings → Profile Groups.
  2. Select the profile group, then click the AI settings tab.
  3. Find the feature you want to update.
  4. Click the toggle to turn it on (blue) or off (gray).

Changes apply immediately. There's no save button.

To turn off every AI feature at once, switch off the All AI options toggle at the top. To bring features back, turn All AI options on again and then manage each toggle as needed.

A: Yes. AI settings are set per profile group, so each group can have different settings.

 

Q: Do I need to save after making changes?

A: No. Toggles apply as soon as you click them.

A: All individual toggles return to their previous states when you turn the master toggle back on.
