Vista Social’s AI Video Generation feature allows you to create short videos directly inside the platform using AI-generated visuals and prompts. You can generate videos from text prompts and then save them to your Media Library or attach them directly to your posts.
Accessing AI video generation
To access AI Video Generation:
- Open the Publishing window.

Open the AI Assistant.
- Navigate to the Generate Videos tab.
From there, you can enter your prompt and generate AI videos directly inside Vista Social.
Generating an AI video
Once inside the AI Video Generation window:
- Enter a text prompt describing the video you would like to generate.
- Choose the desired generation settings.

Click Generate video.
Vista Social will begin generating video variations based on your prompt.
Example prompts
Examples of prompts you can use:
- “Make a POV video walking your dog in the background.”
- “Generate a cinematic sunset beach scene.”
- “Create a short promotional coffee shop video.”
The more descriptive your prompt is, the better the generated result may be!
Viewing generated videos
After the generation process is complete:
- Generated videos will appear inside the AI Video Generation window.
- Multiple video variations may be created depending on the request.
- You can preview each generated video before using it.
Saving or using generated videos
Once a video has been generated, you can:

Save to Media Library — Stores the video in your Media Library for future use. It will show with an AI tag in your Media Library

Send to Composer — Attaches the generated video directly to your current post draft.
- Download — Downloads the generated video file locally.
How to generate videos using Ask Vista
You can also generate AI videos directly from Ask Vista.
Step 1 - Open Ask Vista
Open Ask Vista using:
- The Ask Vista interface in the dashboard
- The keyboard shortcut shown in your account
Step 2 - Enter your prompt
Type a request describing the video you want to create.
Example:
"Generate a video of a dragon flying over a city"
Ask Vista can generate videos similarly to the Composer experience.
Step 3 - Use the generated video
After generation, you can:
- Create a new post using the generated video
- Access previously generated videos through your AI generation history
- Use the video in your social posts
- Continue generating new variations using updated prompts
