You can set up a white-label option if you'd prefer to use your own custom domain for your shared calendar and dashboard instead of using Vista Social’s default link.
In this guide, we’ll review how to set up your custom domain for the shared calendar and dashboard label.
CNAME setup for your domain
To get started, you’ll need to modify your domain’s DNS to create a CNAME record.
For a subdomain (for example, calendar.yourdomain.com or dashboard.yourdomain.com), you’ll want to use a CNAME pointed to: vistasocial.com
This connects your custom domain to Vista Social, so your shared calendar and dashboard appear under your own branded link.
If you're not sure how to modify your DNS, most domain registrars can help. Here are a few helpful guides:
GoDaddy: Setting up a CNAME
Namecheap: Setting up a CNAME
Important Please note that at this time, we do not support proxied DNS. |
Adding the domain to your white-label settings
Once your CNAME record has been created, reach out to our support team to verify the setup and install an SSL certificate for your subdomain.
After SSL activation, your shared calendar and dashboard will be fully accessible under your custom domain.
|
Note SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer, is a security technology that protects information shared between a website and a browser by encrypting it, so it stays private and safe from hackers. |
That’s it! Your shared calendar and dashboard will now be available through your white-label domain, giving your clients a fully branded experience.
