Understanding what your competitors are up to is super important for every brand and can help with your marketing strategy as well. With Vista Social's competitor analysis, find out when your competitors are publishing, what kind of hashtags are they using, what sort of follower growth and engagement rate they are getting.

How to set up competitor tracking
1. On your dashboard, go to Reports → Run report
2. Click Competitor analysis
3. Select a profile that you want to do a competitor analysis with and search for the competitor profiles that you want to add to the report. Note that you can add one profile at a time.

Note: Keep in mind that it may take up to 6hrs to generate an initial competitor report - the profile will appear as loading. You can close the popup and come back later to the loaded profile. |
4. Once you have all the profiles you want included in the report, click Run Report.
5. You will now see the competitor analytics for your selected profile and its competitors. To learn more about competitor report definitions click here.
