There are several reasons as to why your data in Vista Social might be different from what you see on your native analytics.
General Reasons
1. We provide historical data when you first connect your profile, however, the amount of initial data provided depends per network.
2. The data that we collect is not real-time, it can take up to 24 hours for new post data to be populated. This is why we recommend pulling a report until yesterday's date only since today's data is not fully complete yet.
3. If your profile becomes disconnected from Vista Social, we automatically stop pulling data which causes a discrepancy in numbers so make sure to always reconnect a profile if it gets disconnected.
1. We provide up to 6 months of historical data from the date that you connect the profile so you may experience a discrepancy in your annual report if you connected in July or later.
2. We only provide data for Facebook pages with 100 or more followers due to API limitations.
3. Audience data is not real-time and takes up to 24 hours to populate.
4. Data for Facebook posts such as likes, comments, and shares are only updated for a full calendar month. After which, data will no longer be updated for that post.
