There are two main ways to post content to TikTok.
First, you can schedule and post content using 3rd party tools, like Vista Social.
Second, you can post natively, directly within the TikTok mobile app on your phone or their website.
TikTok's API (a mechanism that allows two softwares to "talk" to each other) determines what 3rd party tools, like Vista Social, are able to do.
In TikTok's current API, video posts are restricted in length to be between 3 and 60 seconds. This means that whenever scheduling video posts to TikTok via any 3rd party tools, your videos will have to be longer than 3 seconds but no longer than 60 seconds.
While this is a limitation of TikTok's API, our Product and Engineering teams are always up-to-date on changes occurring in Social Network's APIs and will continue updated Vista Social with new features and improvements as API features continue to expand and grow.
